With gratitude to God for a life beautifully lived, the Falase and Jibowu family of Lagos, together with the Gomis and Sagna family of Dakar, Senegal, announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and pastor, Pst. Mrs. Marie-Antoinette Falase (née Gomis), aged 74.
A woman of deep faith and open arms, she carried her family and her community in prayer and in love. Though our hearts are heavy, we celebrate a life that poured itself out for others — and we invite you to celebrate her homecoming with us in Lagos, November 17–20, 2026.
She is survived by her children, grandchildren, and a wide family across Nigeria, Senegal, Canada and beyond, who will carry her light forward.
